Centofante (Frank) Small Skinning Knife with Maroon Micarta Handles. #R103.
Just acquired this neat little skinner by Frank Centofante. He stopped making fixed blades in the '70's, so you know this one has been around awhile. The blade is a tick under 4" long X 1" deep and is of 3/16" ATS34 stock (he used ATS34 almost exclusively). No pits or spots unless I missed one the size of a pin head! The guard looks to be of nickel silver. The handle is maroon micarta with no liners over a tapered tang (see photo #4), that are affixed with two Loveless style pins. Also has a lined thong hole. The sheath is the original, and is unmarked. Call the knife and sheath near mint as they have been handled over the years. Ask for knife #R105.
